Grill Sakura is one of my favorite yoshoku restaurants. Even in Tokyo, there are not that many places at this level.

I kept the order simple.

Beef stew

Well.. it just melts in your mouth.

Crab croquette

Crispy on the outside, piping hot on the inside. How they make it like this is a mystery to me.

Chicken rice

It is the rice they use for omurice, and it has been a while since I found a place that serves it in the proper old-school way.

What I always feel is that this would be even better with a bigger group. I am sure I will have a reason to come back.
