Right around when the weather started turning cold, I went to Unbong Sanjang in Noryangjin for a long-overdue bit of nourishment. The lamb here is really good. It had been a while, but it was as good as ever. This time we were shown to a private room in the back, which I never knew existed until that day.

Suyuk (boiled lamb)

I remember being disappointed the last time I had this because there was hardly any meat on it, but that day it was really delicious. We ordered less than our group size called for, and looking back now that is a bit of a shame. Then again, we went all out at the second round too, so maybe this was just the right amount.

The meat, as always, was delicious without a hint of gaminess. Just as I expected, the same taste as before. The only thing is that since we were in a private room rather than the main hall, it came out already grilled once, and I think grilling it ourselves would have been better. There were quite a lot of us that day, though, so without the room we would not have been able to eat and drink in comfort.

After a good meal here we moved straight on to the second round. These days, second round almost always means Polpo.
