I went to Gourmet 494 in the Galleria department store in Apgujeong to buy some beer. Of the places nearby where you can buy beer, it has by far the widest selection. Specialty shops for imported beer have been popping up around Itaewon and Yeonnam-dong, but I can’t seem to find any in Gangnam. So even though it’s a bit of a trek, I went all the way to the Galleria. Since I was there anyway, I had a look around inside, and it turns out Boto Acai has opened a branch there in the meantime. They’re pretty quick to follow the trends.
After buying the beer I took a walk along the Han River, and the scenery was just beautiful. I knew the photos wouldn’t come out well, but I took a few shots with the iPhone I had on me.

It’s a shame the photos hardly capture the feeling of watching the sun go down, but I’m leaving them here for the record.
