Gatten is an ordinary yakitori chain. I was looking for somewhere to have dinner and wandered in.

Just cabbage, but a generous portion.

Hearty stuff. The prices are decent too.

Instead of rice, I ordered a bunch of small plates. I was drinking beer as well, so any more carbs would have been a bit much.

They win on volume.

Got to eat some vegetables too.

The fatty ones as a palate cleanser..
Chicken skin
A yakitori joint with big, hearty portions. I could see why they have branches all over Asakusa. Tokyo has plenty of famous yakitori places, but a neighbourhood yakitori joint is worth a visit once in a while too.
