I arrived in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka over the New Year holidays, and it was already almost dinner time. So I decided to have ramen at an old ramen shop nearby.
The front entrance
The place has been in business for decades, but they say it got cleaner after a recent renovation. The noren reads Asakusaken Bunten, the branch shop.

Ramen (chuka soba)
It is a shoyu-tonkotsu style ramen with a rich broth, and it is impressive that they have kept this taste since the old days.
The noodles
The noodles are cooked al dente too. Just the style I like.
Hamamatsu gyoza
You cannot skip the gyoza here. They were hot, but I blew on them and enjoyed every bite.
