There is a well-reviewed ramen shop in Hamamatsucho, so I went over on my lunch break. It is called Tokyo Ramen Tower, and I guess the name comes from Tokyo Tower being visible right behind the shop.

Look closely and you can see Tokyo Tower in the back..

Onsen tamago

Ramen alone always feels a bit short on protein, so I ordered one extra.

Shoyu ramen

It seemed loaded with pork back fat, and the broth was really rich. Being a shoyu tonkotsu broth, it reminded me of Yokohama iekei ramen. Not exactly my favorite style, but it tasted good once I tried it. The chashu was soft and easy to eat too.

The noodles

Thick noodles really do go well with a rich broth.

In goes the onsen tamago
