The Sumida River Fireworks Festival in Asakusa, held every summer, has to be the most famous fireworks show in Tokyo. The crowds it draws are absolutely enormous. Luckily, you can see the fireworks right from my apartment, so I invited a few friends over to watch them with some beer.

We drank well, had a great time, and called it a night. Being able to watch the fireworks from home is a real treat. Already looking forward to next year.
