I dropped by Matsuya for a quick dinner. It’s a restaurant near the harbor that doubles as a guesthouse, and I came here once last winter for snow crab.

Around here you can get seafood this good pretty much anywhere you go.

As you can see, the freshness is killer. At 1,000 yen for this, it kind of kills any urge to eat raw fish back in Korea.

Of course it isn’t crab season right now, so it’s not the best it can be, but I was still very happy with it.
Sazae (turban shell) sashimi
On a roll, I ordered the turban shells too, but they were just ordinary.. hmm.. I guess I need to go back to Naniwa Sushi again..
