There was a game show in Makuhari, so I went along. The atmosphere of the show has changed a lot. There weren’t any huge events this year, but the mobile booths have grown enormously. The likes of KDDI and Mobage Town were promoting themselves all out. It used to be just one or two tiny booths, you know.
The show wrapped up at 5, so I headed to Budoutei, a restaurant I used to love, for dinner. The line was long and I waited about 30 minutes.

Very ordinary. Why, I wonder? Is it because of the game show crowd?

The pasta is as good as it used to be.

Nothing special. I should have just skipped the wait and gone to Tony Roma’s.

There were dozens of booth models. They clearly put a lot of effort in. I also learned that at events like this it’s impossible to get decent photos unless you bring a flash.

What a change from the old days.. Who knew the mobile game market would grow this much..
