A friend said he wanted ramen, so I took him to the ramen shop that has left the strongest impression on me of all the ones I’ve tried. I’ve written about this place before, so I’ll keep it short.
Spicy tsukemen
It was a hot day so I tried the spicy version, but, well… the spicy one wasn’t especially any tastier. Just so-so.

The noodles are the same.
In the end my friend wasn’t all that impressed. He’d only ever eaten shoyu-style ramen up to now, so he said this new-wave style just isn’t for him. Hmm… recommending things is really hard. For Koreans, I think shio is the safe bet, with tonkotsu or miso coming next. Asking Koreans to keep up with the latest trends in Japan is probably a bit much.
