A friend of mine lives in Shirokanedai, so I end up in that neighborhood a lot. This is a place that friend introduced me to, and it’s a solid neighborhood favorite. It seems pretty popular, but it’s not the kind of food worth making a special trip for… It’s a pricey neighborhood, so the bill adds up too. You pay about double what it would cost to eat your fill in my neighborhood ^_^

Motsu nabe
It’s a bit like our Korean sundae-guk (blood sausage soup), but it was a little salty.
I think this was hatsu (heart)
The sauce is tasty, but the grilling skills are so-so.

I just found this out, but wrapping the skewer meat in green pepper tastes great. Give it a try sometime…

All in all, it wasn’t a mind-blowing meal.
After a good meal we headed over to the apartment building where my friend lives. It’s called Shirokane Tower, and the view from the observation floor is killer.

The night view is really gorgeous.
Apparently a studio goes for around 150,000 yen… You’d have to earn a lot to live here. The view is great, though, so it made me think that if I ever hit it big, I’d like to try living in a place like this.
And with this, I’ve posted everything I had stocked up. That was a lot. Golden Week officially kicked off today, so I’ll be uploading for a good while again… Running a blog is not easy… sniff sniff…
