I spotted this place while passing through Shibuya. I heard it was newly opened, so I wandered in without thinking much… but it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.

I order the Sapporo miso ramen for 800 yen.
It tastes fine, but the value for money isn’t great. These days places at this level are everywhere.
Thick noodles.
They go well with the miso. There’s sesame in the broth, which gives it a nutty flavor, but there’s nothing unique about it.
Well, still, at this level I can’t exactly leave any.
The popular places around here all follow roughly this concept.
Cheap, big portions, tasty… for 680 yen you get enough noodles to make you burst. That’s the kind of place young people want. Given what Shibuya is like, it’s only natural that ramen shops like this are popular. Lately I just can’t find places that really grab my taste buds. I’ll have to do more research. (And diet at the same time, sadly.)
