Churaumi Aquarium is the most famous tourist spot in Okinawa. After all, it has one of the biggest tanks in the world. It’s a good 2-3 hours’ drive from Naha, but if you come to Okinawa, it’s a place you really have to visit.

Even though it was the off-season, there were loads of visitors. That’s Okinawa for you.
Starfish
Near the entrance there’s a sort of hands-on corner for kids. You can put your hand in and touch things. There were so many children that I didn’t get to play for long, but it was fun.

There was plenty of other stuff along the way, but I skipped it and headed straight for the most famous one, the shark tank.
