There are quite a few nice parks inside Tokyo. It’s a bit like how Seoul has the Han River banks, Cheonggyecheon or Yangjaecheon. But Yoyogi Park connects straight onto Harajuku and Shibuya, so it’s even easier to get to. (Cheonggyecheon is a bit too hot.. not really the place to go for a rest..)
A quiet scene in Yoyogi Park.
There are lots of young people in Yoyogi Park. Way in the back there were some shirtless guys putting on a capoeira demonstration, but you can’t really make them out in the photo.

They have such a distinctive scent.. there were lots of them at Matsuyama Castle too..

Maybe because it was a holiday, the park had a lively feel that I liked.
