I’ve gathered some of my personal favorites from the photos I took in Onomichi.
Tyrannosaurus
A Stegosaurus, if I remember right
The very idea of building a dinosaur park inside a factory was fun. Judging by all the quirky structures you see wherever you go, the Japanese really seem to have a great sense of humor. ^_^;
Streets by Onomichi Port
Downtown Onomichi
I called it a hillside shantytown, but the mountains and the sea really are right next to each other. Living in a neighborhood like this would sure give you strong legs. It suddenly reminded me of my college days, sob.

There was a really small park that looked like it was imitating Yokohama. Not bad for a stroll.

It’s a narrow, steep path. Cats would suddenly pop up and then vanish again.

This pagoda shows just how long Onomichi’s history goes back.

The railway cuts right across town. At the end of those tracks is the newer part of the city. It’s a street that looks like it came straight out of a movie scene.
Bamboo
The sunlight on the bamboo carried the feel of a warm winter day.
