A collection of random, who-knows-what photos I took in Hiroshima.
Rainbow
It poured all night until dawn, then stopped right around sunrise. A pretty rainbow came out, but it didn’t come out well in the photo..
Atomic Bomb Dome
Apparently at the time of the bombing this was the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, and they’ve left it just as it is, unrepaired. Somehow it had a Laputa-like feel to it.
Riverside on the west side of Hiroshima
I meant to head east but ended up going west. -_- My sense of direction is hopeless.. It’s not far at all from the center of Hiroshima, yet it’s wide-open fields.. The countryside is the countryside, I guess..

It was honestly the first clear day in weeks. So I just snapped a bit of this and that.
A cafeteria in the city center
I had lunch at that café with the red parasols, and it was a total flop. Like most cafés with a great view, the atmosphere and service were good but the food was below average. I went because it’s an oyster specialist, but next time I’ll have to try a place that does it properly.

The season is turning from autumn to winter.

Hiroshima at night..
Hiroshima is surrounded by mountains, so the night view is really beautiful. It’s like looking at a giant Christmas tree. This time, though, I didn’t manage to shoot it properly. Next time I’ll need to come better prepared.
