Autumn is getting deeper, so I thought I’d go see the fall colors and headed out for the weekend. I’d heard there’s a famous gorge called Oni-no-Shitaburui about an hour and a half away, so I went to check it out. On the way I had a delicious wagyu gyudon, so I was in a really refreshed mood for the hike. ^_^
The name Oni-no-Shitaburui supposedly means a place that even demons are scared of. It isn’t actually that scary, though.. I heard the name comes from an episode in Japan’s founding myths.
