I shot every photo with the 85mm. Unlike the motor show, the lighting was really dark.
I don’t have a flash, so getting decent shots was tough. That’s why there are only a few photos.
The darker it gets, the harder the 85mm is to use. The Pentax body is dumb, so the autofocus just doesn’t work properly..
Out of focus T_T I bumped the ISO up to 800, set the aperture to 2.0, tried the autofocus first,
and if it didn’t seem to work I switched to manual.
Backlit.. even the one shot I salvaged didn’t come out well…
Taito seems to be slowing down a bit lately, but their booth girls’ outfits were generous..
Could they stop milking the Ys series already.. I’m getting sick of it..
Shooting in portrait orientation was really hard too.. Clearly.. candid photos and model shots are different fields..
Backlit again.. which booth was it.. my memory is hazy..
This lady was at the outdoor cosplay area.. there were all sorts of people at the outdoor cosplay too..
but I didn’t really shoot them. I’ve already taken plenty of cosplay photos at Comiket..

Looks like if I want to take photos properly, I’ll have to wait for the motor show in November.
Or else I’d have to buy a flash.. but I’m in super-broke mode these days.. I haven’t even
bought a tripod.. so splurging on gear is out of the question for a while..
