On the way to the seaside park
I really need to switch to a pricier filter.. way too much flare.

The park closes at 5:30, but after wandering around for quite a while I somehow managed to get in.
I never meant to sneak in, honestly, but anyway, once I was inside the open sea
stretched out in front of me. I was a little disappointed that a crop body with a 50mm lens just couldn’t
take in a view like that.
The only people in the park were couples walking hand in hand, sitting on benches talking about their present
and future, or practicing badminton late at night, plus
a few guys with pompadours and a beer can in one hand, dressed in black that could have been suits or school uniforms,
and, in a dark corner, two anglers quietly dangling their fishing lines
and that was it. Luckily, there were no security guards or park staff in sight.

the company I work for is the one on the far left with the red lights.
Night shots really need a tripod, but I’m broke so I still haven’t bought one..

The sea at night. Should have adjusted the contrast on this one too..
If you’ve ever gone out to the banks of the Han River late at night, this scene will feel familiar. The smell of the sea and
the sound of the waves feel like old friends.

Chiba wraps around Tokyo Bay, so the sea, hemmed in by the long stretch of port, looks just like a lake.
Those lights you see above the horizon stretch in a long line across the sea.

The spot where the fishing guys were fishing. The lights in the back are the port’s lights. I wondered if it might be Tokyo,
but Tokyo is a good 20 km away from here..
