This was the main reason I went that day — I was curious what a cornetto, a bread similar to a croissant, actually tastes like. I tried one, and it tasted a lot like panettone or brioche. It isn’t heavy with butter the way a croissant is, so it’s nice and light. It would make a pretty good breakfast.

Is Italian bread anything special? Something about it is definitely different, that much is true. But as for how big that difference is, I think opinions would vary from person to person. Either way, being able to taste Italian bread in Korea seems pretty remarkable to me. Even in Japan there aren’t many places like this..
