There is a place in Gyodae that does gopchang (grilled beef intestines) really well, so I went along. The thing is, the shop is in a basement, so even when you know where it is it is hard to find. The entrance sits next to a cafe, and you find yourself thinking, a gopchang joint, here?..

If you do not order early, they run out and you cannot get any.

Gopchang jeongol (offal hotpot)

This one has a properly clean, refreshing broth and it is delicious. To think a class act like this was known only to those in the know, I feel a little betrayed..
