Songgaok Revisited, a Gopchang Joint in Seocho

Back at Songgaok again, this time for a wine meetup. I do like this place, but I never expected to end up here quite this often..

Apparently a souvenir someone brought back from Da Nang, and the taste is, well.. hmm.. a little too sharp to eat on its own, so it seems better to put it into a dish.

Word got out that we were having a wine meetup, so everyone turned up with a bottle each.. wow, seriously..

This one takes a bit of work, but there were plenty of us that day so we ordered a bit of everything. It tasted great, naturally.

So good.. Even after all the times I’ve been here, I’ve never had gopchang and daechang at once – I usually pick one or the other – but that day we ordered both.

Honestly, wine doesn’t really agree with me.. I had way too much and paid for it.. I should probably go easy on the wine meetups..
