I met up with a college friend I hadn’t seen in over ten years at Miro Sikdang in Hongdae. We’ve both turned into middle-aged men. Miro Sikdang was packed again that day, and getting a table without a reservation looked pretty much impossible.
Seafood pajeon
I ordered it for my friend, who was visiting for the first time, and it’s delicious every single time.
Braised pork back ribs
Miro Sikdang is famous for not having a single bad dish on the menu, but this one was especially good.
Steamed scallops
They brought these out on the house for us to try, and with such fresh scallops they tasted great.
Whelk and Spam salad
This is another really satisfying dish.
It had been a while since my last visit to Miro Sikdang, and I ate really well. Still the best, no question.
