The “Yeo-Mi-Dae” course (Yeomyeong, Miro Sikdang, Daddy) is becoming a regular thing for us. Maybe because it’s all near Hongdae?

Anyway, we moved on to Miro Sikdang for round two.

Deep-fried pork ribs

Fried to perfection, but it’s not on the regular menu, so you have to be lucky to get it.

Hobak-jeon (zucchini pancake)

Nothing to fault here.

A great snack to drink with.

Couldn’t ask for more.

We kept round two short and headed to Daddy for round three. Instead of the familiar face, though, there was a new bartender behind the counter.

I can’t quite remember what it was. The new bartenders these days are so much younger than me that, mid-conversation, I get the feeling I’m unintentionally lecturing them like some old man. That’s the downside of getting older. Age aside, the service was excellent.
