I had a lunch appointment in Hamamatsucho, so I got a meal in while I was there.
The lunch-service onigiri
Living in Japan, you end up eating a lot of carbs. Korea has plenty too, but Japan seems to have even more. You always have to watch your nutritional balance.
The dipping broth of the vegetable tsukemen
This place is known for its shoyu ramen, but since it was summer I went with tsukemen to cool off. Not that the broth is cold or anything..
The noodles of the vegetable tsukemen
Generous portion. The noodles have a nice bite too. That a neighbourhood favourite can pull off this level is what makes Japan great, I think. Since I end up going to Japan every two or three months, I never get around to eating ramen in Korea.
