I was wandering around near Yeongdeungpo when I spotted a Sagwadang and went in.

The place

It is the shop that made its name at Yesan Market. I was curious whether it is popular enough to be opening branches like this..

Having tried it, the taste is decent, and I especially liked that the apple has a tartness to it. But the portion is a little lacking. It would be nice if you could order a version with double the apple, and if not, it feels like it needs some cream or something in there to balance it out.

They sell all sorts of bread, but the timing was a bit awkward for me to buy anything, so I gave it a miss.. Anyway, I am leaving this here just to record that a place like this exists too..
