Jaemi Gongjakso is a place where indie bands and singers play live, and I think it’s pretty great that we have a spot like this in Korea. Places like this used to be in Hongdae, but Hongdae is out of reach now, so I suppose that’s how things ended up all the way out here.. Still, I’m just glad the tradition is alive and well somewhere.

Apparently it’s a famous spot that Sung Si-kyung has been to.. there were a lot of people.. so I took a photo anyway.

Time for a talk with the musicians..

They do this too.. I never saw it coming at all. There was nothing like this back when I used to hang around Hongdae.. Anyway, getting to talk with a musician I like made it a really meaningful evening. I’d love to go again if I get the chance, but I’ll be busy for a while, so it probably won’t be easy.
