There is a big AEON in Toyokawa. Maybe because it was built recently, it is large in scale and has plenty of interesting shops.

The scale is pretty impressive. And even if you have an AEON near your house, there is a reason to go out to a bigger one. They really are different..
AEON Mall
At this size it counts as a fairly big one. It would even be worth coming over from the next town..

A newly opened AEON is full of brands that were not there before, and even the brands that were there use a wider space, so all sorts of products end up on display.
A cafe
There was a huge dessert cafe.
Glasses
Even at JINS there was a Design Project line I had never come across before. It turns out it is a series with quite a history, but I had no idea it even existed.. There are several kinds in the series, and after trying them on I liked one of them a lot, so I bought a pair. At a smaller AEON this sort of thing is a bit hard to do.

It is a gummy, and the chewy texture looked fun so I bought some. It had a crisp, crunchy feel to it.
