Cheetah’s is a crepe shop in Toyokawa. If I had to rank it, it would be right at the top.

It is a cafe built out of a converted shipping container.

There is a little space where you can sit and eat.

A cheetah here too

It almost gives off a Chanel vibe..

And a cheetah here as well..

It really lives up to the name Cheetah’s.

Strawberry banana chocolate cream crepe

They make the crisp style of crepe, at roughly the same level as Na Cafe. What surprised me most was how incredibly sweet the local strawberries were, and I kept wondering where on earth they had found strawberries like that. And the generous helping of milky cream went beautifully with the crisp shell. The batter is thicker than at Na Cafe, so there is a satisfying chew to it, but in exchange Na Cafe seems to have a slight edge on crispness.

Sugar butter crepe

The sugar butter one is made by folding Echire butter into the crepe, and even with nothing else added the flavour was rich.

A crepe book

Na Cafe was in it, and so were the famous shops around the area.

Japan puts out books on every subject imaginable, and the quality is really good too.

Homemade ginger ale

I bought a drink as well, and that was tasty too.

There are a huge number of great shops out in the regions too. There is so much worth going around and trying that a regional food trip turns out to be a lot of fun.
