A highball with a pretty strongly smoky style. For something sold in a can, it tasted quite decent..

Modded Cup Noodle Curry

I threw in garlic and mayonnaise, and that gave it a strong tang that made it good.

Yamazaki Highball

It does taste like Yamazaki, but the price just keeps going up..

The smokiness is dialed up a bit further, and it is perfectly drinkable.

Daigaku imo

It is candied sweet potato, and Seven-Eleven sells it. The taste is just plain mattang, but being able to have it any time is the upside. Come to think of it, in Korea you have to go to a Chinese restaurant to get it, don’t you?

Capricciosa Tomato and Garlic

I am a fan of Capricciosa to begin with, but this pasta is genuinely delicious. All you have to do is defrost it, so cooking is easy too. Someday I would like to visit an actual Capricciosa, but there is none nearby so I still have not been..

Beniharuka sweet potato chips

Tasty, but the portion is small..

I bought it out of curiosity, and with walnuts in it the taste is pretty good.

This one also had a bit more chew to it. Whether it is actually tastier, I am not so sure..

Apparently it is a limited edition combining Rummy and Bacchus.. The taste was so-so, not bad I suppose.. Still, with no raisins in it, Rummy is the better one..

Plum-flavored Kappa Ebisen

I am liking plum more and more.. things like this are good too.

Crown Melon

A melon that runs 50,000 won each. But it was not easy to judge the right moment to eat it, and it turned out far too sweet and watery. It does taste good, but having experienced it once, that is enough for me.

Mentaiko pasta

I made it with what I brought back from Mentai Park, and it is good.

I think this was sugar.

Goma dofu

Culinary Class Wars was airing around then, and chef Choi Kang-rok took first place with goma dofu. So I tried making it once, and it was good. When that chewy texture soaks up the broth the textures blend together, and that is the real treat.

New York Nakamura ramen

Clean and tasty.. I thought it might be somehow off, but it turned out to be perfectly normal..

Seven-Eleven sells a Jiro-style ramen set, but I have not taken it on yet. I mean to someday, though who knows when that will be..
