Some guests came over from Korea, and their one and only request was that they wanted to see Mt. Fuji. Well, in that case, off we went.

We got on the expressway and set off for Miho no Matsubara, and once we got close it was something else. To think I could take a landscape photo like this..

You have to head down to the shore, and on the way there are pine trees everywhere. Lovely atmosphere.

Honestly, I never imagined it would be this stunning; the gradation in the waves is unreal. This is beautiful in a way you would not believe unless you saw it with your own eyes.

Mt. Fuji

That overwhelming feeling does not really come through in a photo, but it felt like Fuji was practically right in front of us. We were incredibly lucky and there was not a single cloud; from what I have seen on YouTube and on blogs, there are times when Fuji is not visible at all even from this close. Fickle, apparently..

You do need a bit of luck on your side here, but it turned out to be a place worth visiting at least once in your life. A shame that I have been living in this area and never even thought of going..
