I have ended up gathering at Ae pretty often lately. The seasonal menu shifts a little every time I go, so it never gets old.

Mannochmore

This is the Mannochmore from Three Rivers’ Dance series. Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2016, so a 27 year old. Bourbon hogshead. It is a light, fruity whisky with a deep apple aroma – so whisky can smell of apples like this after all. Bottles from this series were famously hard to get hold of, and each one looks like a work of art, so actually drinking it was a real treat.. as sexy a dram as the sexy bottle design..
