I never imagined there would be a really good restaurant in Seorae Village, but there was one. I only found out right as it was time for me to leave Seorae Village.
A place like this
It is a big place. The gamjaguk is what they are famous for, but the problem is that if you go after 1 o’clock, they sometimes run out of it.
So I ordered the sundubu instead
This one is ridiculous value for money, and it tastes good too.
The menu
Looking at the prices, 9,000 or 10,000 won in this day and age – I am not sure I can convey how impressive that is. The one regret is that the jeyuk bokkeum is 20,000 won (it is a two-person portion, to be fair), so I could not try it. I wonder how many people you need to bring to be able to order it..

Gamjaguk
This is the famously popular gamjaguk, and on top of the sheer quantity, the quality of the meat is quite something. It had been a while since I had meat this good, and it made me wonder why on earth I had been going to other pork-spine soup places all this time.
Inside the bowl
Finish the whole thing and your stomach will burst.. They do it so well and so deliciously that I am declaring it the number one restaurant in Seorae Village.
