It’s an eye mask. Lately my eyes sometimes feel dry and gritty when I sleep, so I gave this a try, and it’s pretty good. Charging it every day is a bit of a hassle, though.

Every Himalaya product I’ve tried has been satisfying. Considering the prices in India, it’s a thumbs up..

HHKB Studio

This is the new keyboard from HHKB, and the typing feel is good. I think I could switch from the regular HHKB to this one, but the structure that’s meant to let you use it in place of a mouse.. isn’t all that comfortable. I use a separate mouse anyway. That said, when it comes to key mapping and convenience the HHKB Studio is the best there is, so I think a simpler version of the HHKB Studio would be the ultimate keyboard.

I brought these back from China, and they’re tangy and tasty. I found out later that a lot of these kinds of snacks are already being imported.

There’s Wuliangchun, there’s Kongfu Jiajiu, there’s China Jing Jiu.. all sorts of things..

Luzhou Laojiao Touqu

The Touqu has a nice aroma, but the taste is a bit rough. Well, it’s the budget model, so that’s to be expected, but the aroma still carries the character of Luzhou Laojiao, so it’s fine for casual drinking.

Lamborghini

A friend bought one, so I got to ride in it once, and honestly, apart from the design, I couldn’t tell what’s different from a regular car. According to my friend, you have to get to Ferrari level before the ride feels really distinctive. Well, not many people want to ride in something uncomfortable anyway.. I heard the best car to simply ride in is the Mercedes 5 series.. or maybe a Porsche.. I don’t have much interest in cars these days..

I brought back a lot of this series. Well.. the flavors are refined, but nothing was amazingly delicious.

They look like this..

But these tangerines were the tastiest dried fruit I’ve ever had. They look like earwax, but they’re sweet and tangy with a bit of chew. I suspect the variety of tangerine is perfectly suited to drying.. I wanted to bring back a few more of these.. but I haven’t had a chance to visit again.. Someday I’ll have a reason to go, I suppose..
