Ijinhyang Beef Noodles is a place that mainly specialises in beef noodle soup.
The place
Well… they serve a beef noodle soup that’s decent enough.
Inside
Once you order, you can see them busily cooking away…
Menu
There are lamb skewers, beef soup and all sorts of other dishes. It’s a good spot for a proper meal.
Soy milk
They sell this kind of thing too.
A Fanta-like drink
I had no idea what it was, but I ordered one. It turns out this place seems to have some connection to Xinjiang, so it’s tied to Islam and only serves halal-certified food. The biggest problem is that they don’t sell alcohol… so in the end I had no choice but to order a soft drink…
Lamb skewers
The lamb skewers were tasty. Not much different from the ones back in Korea, I’d say?
Fried rice
Nicely fried, just about right…
Beef noodle soup
The broth was good.
A dish like dak-dori-tang (spicy braised chicken)
No idea what it actually was… anyway, I ordered one plate and it was a huge portion… I hadn’t expected it to be this big… The wide, flat noodles were chewy and delicious, but in the end I couldn’t finish it and left some.
It was a good place for a decent hangover cure. When you’ve had a lot to drink, beef soup is just what you crave…
