I can read some Chinese characters but don’t really know Chinese, so my explanations of Chinese restaurants are going to be pretty rough.
Soup or tea..
It comes out as a palate cleanser, and it’s nice to drink before the meal.
Tissues
Looks like they charge for these too.. only a small amount, though..
Iwatani..
Never expected to see one in a place like this..
Stir-fried small fish and shrimp
The food is really spicy and sharp. You could tell me it was Korean food and I’d believe you.
Peanuts
Kept reaching for these..
Lotus root galbitang
Once I tried it, this was the real lotus root galbitang, and it tastes great! What was that stuff I ate in Korea..
Stir-fried meat
This one tastes Korean-style too. The meat quality doesn’t seem quite as good as in Korea, though..
Tofu noodle dish
Light and tasty.
Bell pepper and century egg dish
Maybe because of the century egg, it tastes pretty good.
Duck dish
Duck isn’t bad wherever you eat it.
Rice
I was surprised that this rice was better than any rice I’ve had in Korea or Japan. The grains are small, but they have a nice bite and taste great. I think it was something like Wuda fragrant rice.
Interior
It was popular.
Entrance
I’ve visited this place several times, so I’ll probably have plenty more chances to describe it in detail..
