Seoul Myeonok, a Korean Restaurant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I’ve been making the rounds of the various Korean restaurants in Cambodia, and they’re all pretty good. They come recommended by the locals here, so I doubt I’ll ever end up somewhere bad.

The entrance of Seoul Myeonok

Seoul myeonok.

Visually, it’s a bit…

The side dishes

Seoul myeonok.

Clean and tidy.

Dongtaetang (pollock stew)

Seoul myeonok.

It’s not the slightest bit different from Korea, and I do wonder where they managed to get things like the water parsley.

Samgyeopsal

Seoul myeonok.

Grilling the kimchi and bean sprouts along with it is half the fun.

Jjigae

Seoul myeonok.

Seems it comes as standard when you order…

Inside

There’s homemade infused liquor too, a very Korean scene. Not a bad spot for samgyeopsal.
