I heard a decent bakery had opened near Ewha, so I went along. At this point I doubt there’s a neighbourhood left without a genuinely good bakery in it.

It’s on the market street, and they’ve done it up very neatly.

Nuts stick

This one was really good. Not as hard as a baguette, but the nutty, toasty flavour is something else. Highly recommended. I also bought the basil sausage stick sitting next to it, and that was far too spicy. And not a word anywhere saying it was spicy.. even by Korean standards I thought that was a bit much.. I’d assumed it would be something like a bacon épi, but not at all.. Next time I go I think I’ll just buy the nuts stick..
