I spotted a Chinese restaurant that somehow just looked like it would be good, so I went.

A very retro, Showa-era Chinese restaurant. The parking lot is across the street. I turned up right after opening and it was already full of people.

Mini ramen
I ordered the mini so I could try a bit of everything, but it arrived in a bowl the size of a washbasin. It was packed with noodles too, and I wondered how I was supposed to get through it.

Reba nira (stir-fried liver and chives)
The stir-frying is judged just right, the wok-fire aroma is there, and the ingredients are fresh. This is a Chinese restaurant that really knows how to cook. I meant to keep it light, but I think I ended up eating about three servings…

This one looks like an absolute legend, and yet it does work. Quite something.

If they could just do something about the portions I’d want to go often… To take this place on again I think I’d have to get in shape first.
