A mixed bag this time.

Thin-skin boiled dumplings

I bought them on sale, and boiled dumplings turn out to be far easier to make than fried ones. Drop them in boiling water and you are done in three minutes.. They are good thrown into something like a fish cake soup, too. Handy for when you are hungry and can’t be bothered.

Chapagetti The Black

Everyone who had tried it said it tastes the same as regular Chapagetti and just costs more, so I wasn’t expecting much, but it is better than I thought.. For a start the noodles are dried rather than fried, so they don’t go soggy, and it is less greasy.. I doubt many people could pick out a difference in the sauce.. Anyway, it is funny that the more often and the more heavily someone eats Chapagetti (probably because they like that greasiness that is Chapagetti’s whole character..), the more likely they are to say they can’t tell what’s different..

The broth tastes much like tempura udon, I think.

Apparently there is now something called a cropizza.. I have no idea how far the cro- series is going to go..

Nogari peanuts, Cheongyang chilli mayo flavour

I can’t say it really tastes of nogari (dried young pollack).

Matdongsan, pretzel flavour

The regular Matdongsan is better.

It is meant to be Thai style, but it is nothing special..

Allegra

I have been taking something for my rhinitis lately, and it works well. I had assumed Allegra was only sold in Japan, so I had no idea you could get it in Korea too. The old runny-nose medicines were far too harsh, but this one works well and has almost no side effects.
