There’s a naengmyeon place on Pyeongnidan-gil in Bupyeong. I had a craving for naengmyeon for the first time in a while, and going far felt like too much of a hassle, so I stopped in here.
The place
It looks like it originally did memil makguksu, the cold buckwheat noodles.
The menu
Naengmyeon prices have gone up lately, but this strikes me as a reasonable level. Maybe because I went late, though, the mul-naengmyeon was off. They said the nokdujeon was off too, probably because the place is a popular one.
Banchan
Bibim naengmyeon
It didn’t seem to have much of a distinctive character.
Mandu
These were just fine as well, nothing more.
Inside
There really aren’t many naengmyeon places worth going to in this neighbourhood, so if you want to eat some, this is about the only option — but whether I’ll go back next time, I’m not so sure.
