Idle Moments used to be over around Seogyo-dong/Mangwon, and it had a really lovely feel back then too. I heard they had recently opened a place in Seochon, so I went to have a look.
A building like this
I had no idea Seochon had a spot like this.. It is a little off the main street, but the atmosphere is really nice. I suppose a place like this opens and then the area around it gets developed.
The front entrance
Just looking at the exterior, you can already guess what the dessert quality is going to be like.
Inside
A simple interior.
The view by the window
The natural light is lovely. So much so that a middle-aged guy like me wonders whether he is even allowed in somewhere this nice.
The kitchen
Very neat and tidy.
The menu
The illustrations are neat too.
Lemonade
It was a bit of a warm day, so I gave it a try.
Fig tart
Great atmosphere, delicious desserts.. no wonder the place is popular. That said, it is a bit awkward for a middle-aged guy to come alone and try to get something done. Time to leave stylish spots like this to the young folks, I suppose..
