We should have been finished at Gwangmyeong Cave much earlier, but the queue to get in was so long that we ended up coming out late. So we moved to the IKEA nearby to have dinner. Why go to IKEA to eat, you ask? Well, it was because we could have a look around IKEA for the first time in a while and pick up some groceries too. I get a craving for IKEA’s food products now and then, so I end up dropping by to check what they are like these days.

The restaurant menu

Not exactly cheap, but not bad at all. For what it is worth, the food court is so big and so well laid out that it looked like a great place to visit as a family.

Whole loin porkcutlet

The pork cutlet was unexpectedly good. The meat is crisp and tasty, but what I especially liked was how rich the sauce was.

IKEA’s signature dish, of course. Even if you make them at home the sauce comes out a little different, so it is better to eat them at IKEA.

I ordered dessert as well. It felt a bit on the sweet side, I think..

The chicken was just so-so, but there were fries with it, so everyone was happy.

Plantball kimchi fried rice

A Koreanized menu item, this one. It was decent enough.

Plant pulled pork burger

I thought it was a hamburger, but there is nothing inside except the pulled pork. It tasted better than it looks, but it feels like it is short on vegetables somehow.

Since I am at IKEA, I have to have a hot dog and a soft ice cream before I leave.

I am relieved the prices have not gone up.
