Sonata of Light at Oak Valley

Oak Valley was running an event called Sonata of Light. It was actually worth seeing. It’s the kind of event that only works in winter, when the golf course is closed.

The entrance looked like this

A giant image shown with 3D mapping

Sonata of light

This was the coolest part: 3D-mapped video is projected onto the bumpy fairways of the golf course, and the visuals are pretty spectacular. You even get to see a golf-course-sized whale jumping, which was amazing. There must be some technology that works it all out so it reads as flat from where you stand.

Walking one loop around it was good fun.
