Bongcheon-dong Jinsunja’s egg roll gimbap is… well… just gimbap wrapped in egg, but for some reason there are days when I really crave it. There’s a branch in Gangnam, so I dropped by.
The place
It’s down in the basement, and the opening hours don’t seem to be very long.

There’s nothing particularly special in the ingredients, and yet there’s a reason you keep coming back for it.
Jangajji (pickles)
This one has a truly devilish taste. It’s chewy and spicy at the same time, and eating it while the egg is still warm is about as good as it gets. There’s a reason something stays loved for this long. I’m glad I can eat it right off the griddle in Gangnam instead of Bongcheon-dong.
