Entry plug
There’s one seat inside and you can take a photo, and that’s about it. Since you just look and you’re done, there’s really no need to queue up.
The view from up top
The detailing is pretty good.
Downtown Kyoto in the distance
The view is better than I expected.
Wait, is that Kaworu over there..
The other characters are all on the same building, but only Kaworu is off on his own.
The Angels waiting for us
Cute.. maybe these guys are the real stars..
The NERV logo on the studio over there too..
The head
A sea of blood
Nicely staged.
The Angels..
They’ve put it together reasonably well for the fans. Not that it’s worth going out of your way for, though.
An Ultraman kaiju
I have no idea what it’s called..
Gomora
Looks like Shin Ultraman is doing reasonably well.
Kamen Rider
A Showa-era Kamen Rider, and he was huge.
Entrance
This one looks like a more recent Kamen Rider.
The history of Super Sentai so far
One new Sentai show airs every year, so there are dozens of them. There are more that I don’t know the names of than ones I do.
The angel statue
They have this kind of thing too. Somehow it feels a bit Disney..
A ninja on a rope
It moves back and forth automatically. It was more impressive than I expected.
Exit
I spent a good half day here. The attractions weren’t bad either, better than I’d expected. After spending the time like this, we head off for dinner.
