I heard that Pâtisserie Crémiel, run by a French baker, had opened in Yangjae, so I went to have a look.
The place
The location is spot on. People keep streaming in, so it looks like a hit right from the day it opened. It did feel like the crowd had thinned a little compared to the first days, though. It was Valentine’s season, so chocolate was the main event.

When I went to pay, there was a French member of staff with a wonderfully sunny personality.
Croissant and canelé
It really does feel like proper, authentic French baking.
