Nongmin Baegam Wang Sundae is a wildly famous sundae-guk place in Seolleung.

A place like this..

The line is long, so you have to write your name on the waiting list and wait, and even though I avoided the lunch rush I think I still waited about an hour. These days I have my AfterShokz and YouTube, so the wait was not boring, but even so..

Clean and tidy, as you would expect from a famous place.

The sundae

Tasting it, the flavor is very much a crowd-pleaser. I ordered the regular size and it came out closer to a large. The only shame was that I had meant to order the set meal and try a bit of everything, but I got there late and could not order it.

Very generous and satisfying.

I had some packed up so I could eat it at home too.

This is what it came as.. and it was so good even eating it at home. This place apparently has a branch in Gangnam as well, and the line there is at least a little shorter. I worked in Gangnam for quite a while, and to think I am only finding that out now..

These days good bakeries are opening all over the place, so it seems you hardly need to make a special trip for most of them..
