Garak Market is a big market you can get to on a Ttareungi (Seoul’s public bike share). I went over on the weekend, partly for the exercise.

Having a car does make buying things a bit easier, but then it stops being exercise..
This kind of atmosphere
It’s the COVID era, so it does feel like there are fewer people around.

Jujubes
They’re the size of a small apple and they taste like a small apple too. Fruit of this quality isn’t easy to find at an ordinary supermarket. The price was reasonable as well, so coming out to the market was worth it.
Figs
Carrying them home on the bike banged the figs up a bit.. They tasted good, though..
Cheap Shine Muscat
They said there was one left and gave me a good price, so I bought it. The grapes are smaller and less sweet than a proper Shine Muscat, but being cheap forgives everything.
