I’d heard there was a famous Chinese-run Chinese restaurant in Apgujeong, and when the chance came up I went to check it out.

Gadam

The place has a certain presence to it. Plenty of seats, and it was packed with people.

Nanjawanseu

This was really good. It’s a bit like a Western hamburg steak, but with more depth to it. Nanjawanseu alone makes the place worth a visit.

Chili tangsuyuk

Better than decent..

Yuxiang donggu

Looks like the signature dish, and it’s easy to eat and tasty.

Spring rolls

A perfect finish, too. It had been a while since I ate this well at a Chinese-run Chinese restaurant.

We moved somewhere nearby for a cup of tea. Ever since the Andaz opened, this neighborhood seems to keep getting better.
